Sakshi is an undergraduate student and the founder of techSA. While studying and handling everyday digital tasks, she saw how often students, job seekers and families need quick help with PDFs, scanned documents, QR codes, images and calculations—without creating an account or learning complicated software.

She created techSA as a practical learning project: a growing, browser-first resource that combines focused tools with clear guidance on how to use them responsibly.

Why I built techSA

Many online utilities make a simple task feel harder than it should be. A student may need to combine assignment pages, a job applicant may need to submit a resume and certificates in one PDF, or a small business may need a QR code for a poster. techSA is designed to make these routine steps clearer: choose the correct file, complete one focused action, download the result and check it before sharing.

As a student founder, Sakshi prioritises the situations she understands first-hand: mobile-friendly tools, plain language, small-document workflows and guides that explain the “why” as well as the button to press. The site does not present tools as substitutes for official portals, professional advice or authorised document systems.

How the tools work

Where a modern browser can safely do the work, techSA processes selected files and text locally on the visitor’s device. This browser-first approach is especially useful for routine file handling. Some pages load established client-side libraries from public CDNs to make a feature work; those requests are explained in our Privacy Policy. Browser processing has limits: very large, damaged, encrypted or complex documents may fail, and important originals should always be kept.

Editorial and product standards

Every tool should explain what it does, how to use it, who it can help, its limits and what to check after download. Our guides and articles are written as original, task-specific help—not copied descriptions or promises of perfect results. Pages display an update date when they are reviewed. We do not claim that a calculator is professional advice, that a PDF edit preserves legal validity, or that a tool can bypass a password.
